The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Analog

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Analog

2017 October 26
08:00 to 17:30
Centro de Convenciones
Organizer: Arrow Iberia Electronica SLU

Arrow Electronics and Analog Devices are inviting you to one of our seminars in Austria, Czech Republic, Spain and Portugal.

During the day we will explore some of the challenges in analog signal chain design: sensor interfaces, amplifier circuits, analog-to-digital converters, and low noise power supplies. We will give examples of how the analog technology industry leader can help you with these challenges – innovative new components, expert application examples, and powerful design tools.

Why should you visit the seminar?

  • Johannes Horvath and Frederik Dostal, both Applications Engineers at Analog Devices, will present techniques to design and analyze mixed-signal applications circuits from sensor interface to digitization and explore the effects of power supply design on the noise performance of these circuits.
  • The presentation format will be a combination of instructional slide show and demonstration of various design tools including LTspice circuit simulation tool.

Topics covered are:

  • Understanding op amp circuits: noise, accuracy, stability and more
  • Choose the right ADC architecture for the application: impact on noise, linearity and accuracy
  • From sensor to bits: How to make all the components work together
  • Techniques to reduce the impact of power supply noise on high-performance signal chains

What will be your benefit & take away?

  • Participants will gain & strengthen their Analog/Mixed-Signal expertise through theory and application examples.

For whom is it interesting?

  • The target audience is hardware developers interested in analog and mixed-signal board level designs. The aim is that engineers of all experience levels, from relative novices to expert gurus, will find some items of interest.
