2018, a year when BEC Conventions is set to take off internationally

The route taken by the airlines, airports, destinations, tourist authorities and transport companies involved in the Routes 2018 conference is not the only one that will mark the calendar of events at BEC Conventions for 2018. Apart from Europe’s biggest connectivity event, the venue is set to host events with a wide range of different formats but one feature in common: their international scope.  The 14th World Metrorail & Light Rail Congress is to take place in Bilbao, after previous editions held cities such as London; the Euro PM2018 Congress & Exhibition, the annual congress of the European Powder Metallurgy Association, is also to have BEC as its venue. This event will bring together leading worldwide producers of raw materials, machinery and accessories, and will also feature a strong presence by leading technical and scientific authorities in the sector.

The calendar of events organised by the centre itself include the ADDIT3D Congress on 3D and additive manufacturing, which has become a core topic for production specialists, plus the IMIC Industrial Maintenance Innovation Conference, the Oil&Gas Conference and the EGURTEK Forum for Architecture in Wood.  Finally, a very different event in terms of its organisation and its target audience is Magic The Gathering, organised by California-based firm, as a unique event based on the popular trading card game. These events are organised by the BEC itself and by Routes Europe, Terrapinn, the European Powder Metallurgy Association, ADDIMAT, EasyFairs and SiteLine.
