83% of BIEMH exhibition area already hired

A total of 618 exhibiting companies have confirmed their participation at BIEMH, International Machine Tool Biennial Exhibition, and have already booked 83% of the available floor space. The sector is looking forward to meeting up once again and it is growing, according to data from the European Association of the Machine Tool Industries and related Manufacturing Technologies (CECIMO). This year’s event will be a reflection of this and will gather leading advanced manufacturing companies.

CECIMO recently declared that production in European was growing by the end of 2021 as expected (11.5%) and that economic indicators for 2022 are positive. Despite interruptions to the supply chain caused by the pandemic, forecasts highlight domestic consumption, which will grow by 15.22%, and exports, which will rise by 12%.

In this context, companies are responding positively to BIEMH – the Exhibitors’ Directory already features very important names from all the sectors that take part in the event. For example, metal-cutting machinery is one of the most important sectors this year and will gather companies such as Danobat Group, Zayer, Ibarmia, Nicolás Correo, Sisteco, Gurutzpe, GER, DMG Mori, Delteco, Intermaher, Lagun, Geminis Lathes, Egasca, Maquinser, Maquinaria Greco, Maquina Center and Ferrotall. As for metal-forming machinery, companies such as Trumpf Maquinaria, Mahenor, Amada Maquinaria, Adige SPA-BLM Group, Tecoi Corte, Maquinaria Curvaser, Bystronic, Josep Muntal, TCI Cutting and Redima will attend the event.

Other companies working in the machine-tool components and accessories sectors have confirmed their attendance, such as Teseo, Shuton, Stäubli, Phoenix Contact, Juntas Besma S.A, Dimotor S.A, Hoffmann and Beckhoff. As for the tools sector, companies such as Ayma Herramientas S.L, Unceta, Mecos Iberica, ZCC Cutting Tools Europe GMBH and Goikarte will be attending. There will also be many robotics companies: ABB, Yaskawa, Fanuc, Harmonic Drive SE, J.K.E Robotics S.L, Kuka, Motofil and Zimmer Group, to name a few.

BIEMH has become a leading international meeting point, thanks to the innovative and international profile of its exhibitors and visitors. The fair was recently awarded the Full Internationality certificate by the Spanish Ministry of Industry and Trade. It is an official award that recognises the participation of a large amount of international companies and the huge support from the sector, as well as its position as a showcase for the state-of-the-art technological breakthroughs.

More BIEMH than ever is the claim chosen for the 2022 edition. The event is back with the same essence, but strengthening its commitment to revitalising the sector’s economy.
