Bilbao Exhibition Centre will, in a matter of months, become a key meeting point for the international scientific community as it hosts three of the most prominent conferences on the calendar: the 40th Biennial Meeting of the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry (RSEQ), the 30th International Conference on Low Temperature Physics (LT30) and EU PVSEC is the largest international Conference for Photovoltaic research, technologies and applications.
From June 30 to July 3, the RSEQ Biennial Meeting will bring together over a thousand researchers, scientists, educators, and industry experts at one of the most significant national and international forums in the field of Chemistry. This gathering will provide an opportunity to explore the latest advancements across all areas of the discipline and its connections to others such as physics, mathematics, materials science, and life sciences, highlighting the central role of Chemistry in scientific and technological progress. Beyond its scientific content, the congress will serve as a privileged space for collaboration, idea exchange, and professional networking in a city like Bilbao, known for its dynamism, innovation, and commitment to knowledge.
Shortly thereafter, from August 7 to 13, LT30 will place BEC at the heart of international Low Temperature Physics. Held every three years, this conference will welcome experts from around the world to share the most significant developments of the triennium in areas such as superconductivity, quantum systems, Bose-Einstein condensates, cryogenic refrigeration, and emerging quantum platforms. Taking place in Southern Europe for the first time—and within the framework of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology—this edition carries added value, acknowledging the essential role this branch of physics has played in the development of quantum science.
With the hosting of LT30 in the field of physics, the 40th Biennial Meeting of the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry in the chemical sector, and EU PVSEC in the field of photovoltaic solar energy (to be held at the end of September), Bilbao Exhibition Centre firmly establishes itself in 2025 as a leading venue for major international scientific conferences.
