BEC’s public events are not only entertainment platforms but valuable contributions to social and cultural development, standing out for their commitment to core values and their positive impact on society as a whole.

Solidarity is one of the aspects in which BEC firmly believes and for this reason, part of the furniture has been donated to the Basque Red Cross. This action not only allows BEC to support a social cause, but also to contribute to sustainability by giving the furniture a second life. The Red Cross has been a fundamental pillar in supporting those most in need, and the BEC team is proud to be able to contribute to its mission. The furniture will be used for the Pausoka project for the elderly. The rest of the material will be used in the shelter set up through Trapezistak, to premises in Bilbao where assessments are carried out and help is given to families in vulnerable situations, to the Harrera project and to the Red Cross facilities that host the employment programme and help is provided to families in situations of vulnerability; to the Harrera project and to the Red Cross facilities that host the employment programme.

Along the same lines, BEC opened its doors to Bakuva, a non-profit organisation that has been facilitating the social integration of children, adolescents and young people in the Bilbao La Vieja neighbourhood since 2007, with the aim of getting to know all the ins and outs of the venue and the different events that are held and organised there.

The entity carries out educational, sports, leisure and free time activities. Among its activities is the David Project, which seeks to provide academic, personal and social guidance to adolescents and young people in order to discover their talent and find their educational and professional path. The aim is to provide them with an academic pathway and future opportunities that will help them in their process of social inclusion.
