Members of the Meetings and Events team at Bilbao Exhibition Centre took part in two of the major international events for the MICE sector: the 64th ICCA Annual Congress, held in Porto from 9–12 November, and IBTM World, taking place this week from 18–20 November in Barcelona.

During the ICCA World Congress, Edurne Sauto, from the Meetings and Events department and Future Leader of the ICCA Future Leaders Council, and Leticia Stanculescu, Sales Manager of the department, represented BEC at a gathering that brought together over 1,500 professionals from 81 countries. Their participation marks another step in BEC’s internationalisation and integration into a key space for collaboration and global projection within the MICE sector.

Meanwhile, IBTM World 2025, currently being held in Barcelona, has once again become an essential meeting point for destinations, venues and professionals in the MICE industry. BEC’s presence at this international trade show has helped consolidate relationships with global clients, generate new business opportunities and increase Bilbao’s visibility as a destination for large-scale meetings and congresses.
