BEC is preparing for an especially diverse and dynamic autumn in 2026, with a calendar featuring some of the main events linked to strategic sectors such as biotechnology, healthcare, sustainability, industrial decarbonization and construction. The venue will also host initiatives related to employment, sport and entertainment.

In September, among the highlights of the calendar is FABTCG World Tour – Calling Bilbao 2026, a new international event linked to the world of strategic trading card games, which will bring together participants and fans from different countries. That same month, BEC will be the venue for BioSpain 2026, one of the largest international gatherings in the biotechnology sector, bringing together companies, research centres, startups, investors and institutions from around the world.

In October, the calendar will include the 68th National Congress of the Spanish Society of Haematology and Haemotherapy (SEHH) and the 42nd National Congress of the Spanish Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (SETH), two of the country’s leading scientific and medical events, bringing together top specialists in the field. Also in October, BEC will host the 11th edition of Egurtek, the International Forum on Architecture and Construction in Wood, a strategic meeting point for sharing experiences, promoting synergies and encouraging the use of wood as a key factor in reducing carbon footprint. In addition, sport will take centre stage with the Basque Crossfit Txapelketa, an already established competition that will arrive at BEC for the first time, bringing together athletes and fans of one of the fastest-growing sports disciplines in recent years.

In November, DS Industry 2026 will focus on the transition towards a more sustainable and decarbonised industry, fostering direct interaction in a space that will bring together visiting professionals from more than twenty industrial sectors, ranging from energy and automotive to steelmaking and food production. BEC will welcome, also in November, a new edition of Merkalan, which will coincide with the 9th Basque Employment Congress, two events focused on talent, employability and the challenges of today’s labour market.

The autumn season will be rounded off with many more professional and leisure events, once again positioning Bilbao Exhibition Centre as one of the main hubs of activity and networking in the Basque Country.
