The Pumps & Valves sales team asked all visitors for their help to establish topics of interest at the technical conferences, so they could be tailored to their needs. The most popular contents in the surveys were “Maintenance of pumps & valves”, “Advances in the design, selection of materials, manufacture and coatings for the protection against corrosion of pumps and valves”, “Key issues in the selection of a pump: Practical situations”, “Energy savings in pumping systems”, “Selection of the appropriate valve for reducing costs and increasing performance”, “Actuators and controls. Digital technologies. Predictive maintenance”, “Recent changes in the standards for valves and their implications for manufacturers”, “Improvements in pipe integrity through adequate valve preventive maintenance”, and “Process monitoring and control”. These topics will be covered on the second conference day, which is more technical, while the first day will focus on the presentation of medium-term investment projects by engineering firms and EPCs.
