Gustoko 2022 to offer an extensive programme of parallel activities

The Gustoko organising team is already busy working on a programme of activities for the fourth edition of the event, to be held from 4 to 6 March 2022. In this section, there will be proposals aimed at its two guest profiles: professional and general visitors.

Focusing on the former, there will be exclusive activities for professional such as free tastings and B2B meetings. There, they will meet with exhibitors from gourmet channels, hotels, specialised shops, and large retail stores, among others.

On the other hand, the overall public will be able to enjoy samplings and buy products directly, and will have a chance to take part in tastings and pairings, product presentations, demonstrations of folklore and artisan products, scientific talks, children’s educational areas, rural and gastronomic tourism areas, the Nirea Project, and show cooking. They will also have the chance to participate in different contests and prize draws.

This section will complete the exhibition area by creating an ideal ecosystem to promote culture and local, quality production, as well as favouring commercial relations.

The approach of a trade show like Gustoko is to delve into all aspects related to local production and respond to the continuous evolution of food, showing its commitment to biodiversity and the maintenance of a more sustainable environment while taking care of the cultural, landscape and environmental heritage of the regions, including the benefits that their consumption has on people’s health. A good example of this philosophy is its new image. The vine symbolises an extensive tradition of cultivation with over 780 thousand years of history, where nature, quality, and variety merge to add value to local products.
