+INDUSTRY, the biggest smart manufacturing event of the year in Spain, is to be held under the slogan “The whole industry, here” from 3 to 5 June at Bilbao Exhibition Centre, bringing together more than 873 firms from 18 countries. This major industrial event will integrate seven trade fairs into a single platform with synergistic and structured content, promoting innovation, networking and business opportunities throughout the value chain.

With outstanding international participation -Germany, China, France, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, USA, Taiwan and India, among others- and a solid representation from the Basque industry, the event will occupy halls 1 and 3 of the BEC. The format, classified by sector, will allow attendees to visit all the essential processes of industrial manufacturing in a dynamic and highly specialised environment.

The thousands of professionals already registered, from sectors including automotive, aeronautics, defence, rail, energy, steel, capital goods and petrochemicals, as well as food, logistics and intralogistics, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and packaging, will encounter an enriching ecosystem, designed to respond to the global challenges of the sector and connect with innovative solutions that strengthen their competitiveness. This is a highly qualified visitor profile, with a strong focus on investment in R&D&I and continuous improvement and decision-making capacity in purchasing processes. The origin of the visitors covers the entire Spanish territory, as well as a wide international presence linked to the global industrial environment.

A SINGLE PLATFORM, WITH SYNERGISTIC AND STRUCTURED CONTENT

Within this framework, weAR is one of the great novelties of this edition, with a focus on automation and robotics. The space will bring together advanced technological solutions that improve operational efficiency, increase process precision and contribute to the reduction of costs and production times, thanks to the integration of intelligent machinery, specialised software and collaborative robotics.

The area will host cutting-edge developments in the fields of intelligent storage, automated guided vehicles, connection systems and mobile assistance, among others. In addition, the Tech Demos space will offer live demonstrations that will allow visitors to experience the latest innovations applied to real industrial environments first-hand. In addition, there will be a technical visit to AIC – Automotive Intelligence Center on 4 June. There, participants will be able to get a close look at projects such as Automotive Smart Factory and Gestamp Flex Factory Lab, two real examples of how innovation is transforming the future of the automotive industry.

Subcontratación, International Trade Fair for Industrial Processes and Supplies, the only event of its kind in Spain, will be held in Hall 3 of the BEC. With more than 40 years of experience, this event will once again be a strategic space for national and international subcontractor SMEs. Throughout its history, Subcontratación has enjoyed the direct collaboration of the country’s main chambers of commerce, associations and clusters, facilitating the group participation of their associates, and offering very attractive advantages.

Nearly 500 companies will showcase solutions in casting, machining, heat treatment, electronics, prototyping, moulds, plastic injection and parts manufacturing, among other processes, providing flexibility, specialisation and advanced technology to strategic sectors of industry.  The exhibition will be complemented by suppliers of auxiliary equipment and machinery that are essential in any workshop or manufacturing company.

At the same time, the 21st European Industrial Subcontracting Meeting is to take place, organised by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, CamaraBilbao and BEC, in collaboration with the Spanish Chambers of Commerce. This B2B meeting, the most important in the sector in Spain, is expected to bring about around 1,000 professional encounters between European buyers and supplier companies. Purchasers from countries such as Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Holland, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Sweden and Switzerland will participate.
