Bilbao Exhibition Centre will host the first examinations of the 2023–2024–2025 Osakidetza public recruitment process (OPE) on 19, 20 and 21 June 2026, once again positioning the venue as a key infrastructure for large-scale public employment processes in the Basque Country.

During this first phase, examinations will be held for the nine categories with the highest number of applicants, involving more than 101,000 registered candidates — figures that highlight the significant logistical and organisational demands of a process of this magnitude.

The exams will be distributed across three daily time slots — 9:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. — taking advantage of BEC’s capacity to manage and organise large flows of people, provide extensive examination areas and guarantee the simultaneous running of large-format recruitment processes. With this new edition of the recruitment process, BEC further strengthens its role as a strategic infrastructure for large-scale institutional events of high attendance and complexity, as well as its contribution to public processes with major social and professional impact.
