All set in BEC for the start of the tour

BEC has everything ready to host the logistics and press centre of the Tour de France 2023 during its start. From Sunday 25 June until Saturday 1 July, the Tour organisers have set up their offices in the Convention Centre.

They will occupy 24 rooms, some of which have been built exclusively for the event. As a curiosity, most of them will bear the names of cyclists such as Miguel Indurain, Eddy Merks, Raymond Poulidor or Bernard Hinault, among many others. The Sala Luxua will be the press centre, where the teams will organise their press conferences and interviews.

The first stage of the Tour, which will start on 1 July in Bilbao, will be preceded by the now usual “Le Caravane publicitarie”, which will use Pavilion 2 to vinyl and decorate the cars of the caravan, which will leave BEC for Bilbao on Saturday 1 early in the morning.

The official inauguration of the logistics and press centre will take place tomorrow, Wednesday 28th at 14:00 with the presence of Christian Prudhome and relevant personalities from the institutional sphere.
