BE IN, BIEMH. Industry 4.0 revolutionises the 30th edition of the fair

With an unprecedented technological offer, BIEMH-International Machine Tool Biennial Exhibition will be positioned at the forefront of Industry 4.0 on 28 May to 1 June 2018 in what will be its 30th edition. More than 1,500 exhibiting firms from 21 countries have already responded to the invitation to the event, “Be IN, BIEMH”, where they will deploy their full force in INnovation, productive INtelligence, system INtegration and INternationalisation throughout Bilbao Exhibition Centre’s six halls.

The details of the companies, product and services registered to date have created a very ambitious edition in terms of approach and content, which will provide new answers and solutions to the challenges of advanced manufacturing. The main sectors at the exhibition will be components and accessories (28%), metal-cutting machinery (22%), tools (15%), metal-forming machinery (14%), metrology and CAD-CAM (10%), and automation and robotics (9%). Furthermore, the need to invest in new machinery, tools and equipment has reinforced the international presence at the event, which this year gets the best record in recent times, with leading brands from 20 countries such as Flow Europe, Datson, Adige, BLM, Salvagnini, Mecanumeric, Matsura, Muratec, Coherent-Rofin, Marechal Electric, Amob, Adira…

In the visitor’s section, the registered professionals come from companies covering the entire spectrum of the user sectors: automotive industry, aeronautics, railway, iron and steel industry, energy, consumer goods, and even chemical, pharmaceutical and the food industry, among others. In parallel, the purchaser delegations programme is under intensive development in the 26 priority export countries established by the event’s exhibitors.

Last of all, BeDIGITAL, an event aimed at the industrial application of digital technologies, has also been added in this year’s calendar, which also includes the 3rd edition of ADDIT3D, the International Trade Show on Additive and 3D Manufacturing. The latter will showcase very interesting advances in additive manufacturing and metal printing machinery. The offer will be completed with IMIC-International Maintenance Conference and WORKINN, Industrial Employment Forum.
