BIEMH presents in Madrid and Barcelona the main developments of its marketing campaign

The heads of the various areas of the organising team meet in both cities with participating companies, associations and specialised magazines

The BIEMH-International Machine Tool Biennial organising team met today in Madrid with exhibitor companies and potential customers to present the main advances of the event’s various campaigns in the areas of sales, visitors and communication. The meeting also served to confirm the good situation of the sector and to open a direct line of work with the heads of the different areas and to deal with organisational and promotional aspects. The delegation will travel to Barcelona tomorrow with the same objective.

At the event Thais Basañez, BIEMH’s event manager, stressed that “the claim More BIEMH than ever is already a reality. The fair is back with a bang and a great international range on offer. The main companies, which are world-leading, will be present with exceptional staging, full of machines and equipment in operation.” The meeting brought together at no one today representatives of companies, associations and the media, who were also informed about ADDIT3D and BeDIGITAL, which will be held in parallel to BIEMH.

Companies’ response to the BIEMH in June has been positive and confirms the favourable outlook for this year: around 750 firms have already booked 90% of the available space. In the international section, which is also growing at a good pace, exhibitors from countries such as Germany, Italy, Portugal and Taiwan, among others, stand out. Almost four months before the event, work has begun to design the floor plans, with the placement of large sections and the sectorisation of the fair. In total, 6 pavilions will bring together companies from sectors such as machinery for removal and deformation, components and accessories, and tools and robotics.

On the other hand, the visitor campaign is progressing and the first contacts have already been made in the sector’s priority countries. With the focus on Spain, where special actions will be executed in the areas with the highest industrial concentration of companies, but also in France, Portugal, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Poland, Turkey, the United States, India and Mexico, the Hosted Buyers’ Programme, a programme to invite VIP buyers, is already underway. This initiative receives requests from exhibitors themselves and is essential to guarantee that the fair will be attended by hundreds of extremely interesting professionals and to manage business meetings. Likewise, another key element of the BIEMH’s success is direct collaboration with the main national-level and international-level sector associations.

The 31st edition of the BIEMH will bring together leading companies in advanced manufacturing and machine tools at the BEC, from 13 to 17 June. In parallel, the BEC pavilions will host the Industry 4.0 BeDIGITAL and ADDIT3D trade fairs, as well as the IMIC-Industrial Maintenance Innovation Conference.
