On 4 and 5 April, Bilbao Exhibition Centre hosted the first edition of North Card Show, a new event dedicated to the world of Trading Card Games (TCGs) and collectibles, with the ambition of becoming a benchmark event for enthusiast and professional communities across northern Spain.

Held in BEC’s Luxua room, located on Level 3, the event brought together hundreds of attendees around trading cards, collectibles and internationally recognised franchises such as Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dragon Ball and Lorcana, among others. The event featured more than 80 exhibitors and over 100 display tables across a space of more than 1,200 sqm, creating a spacious environment for buying, selling and exchanging cards and collectible products.

The programme also included talks, livestreams, break zones and special activities, reinforcing the experiential nature of an event designed to share passions, discover new collections and connect different generations.

North Card Show broadens the thematic diversity of BEC’s calendar and introduces an emerging event format that has steadily increased its relevance within the entertainment sector — a sector that combines commercial potential, an active community and strong audience loyalty.

Following the positive reception of this first edition, organisers are already working on the continuity of the event, with new dates planned for 2027 at BEC.
