Marta Campos, director of BEC Meetings and Events, attended from November 1 to 4, together with the representation of the Bilbao Convention Bureau, the 59th Congress of ICCA, the International Congress and Convention Association; as well as the Assembly of the Iberian Chapter, where the members of Spain and Portugal discussed the future of the most relevant issues for the sector.

Following the official calendar, the department participated at IBTM 2020, this year in virtual format, where they had an interesting B2B agenda of appointments with buyers from the national and international market, highlighting the German, French and English markets, which coincides with the origin of the business tourists who visit Bilbao the most.

To close the year, BEC Meetings and Events will participate together with the general director of BEC, Xabier Basañez, in the XVII Annual Congress of the Association of Congress Centers of Spain that will be held from December 16 to 18 at the Palacio de Europa in Vitoria.
