Around 5,300 specialists in family and community medicine and residents gathered at Bilbao Exhibition Centre between 2 and 5 October for the 46th National Semergen Congress.

For four days, BEC was transformed into a large health centre where conferences, workshops, symposia and topics such as the development of new technologies and digital communication environments were discussed.

The meeting took up the entire BEC Convention Centre, as well as the atrium and a hall, which served as a dining hall for the entire medical community . In these areas, Semergen organised an exhibition area and had 37 spaces for the various scheduled meetings.

Besides the presentation of its new Board of Directors, the Congress included a first-class scientific programme focusing on training in areas of the speciality such as care, research and teaching. Without a doubt, it was four days of intense training work.

The slogan of the meeting was Iluzioz trebatzen / Formándonos con ilusion / Training with Hope
