Speakers from user companies will analyse their experiences at IMIC-Industrial Maintenance Innovation Conference

It will be held on 28 and 29 May at BEC

Speakers from large automotive, aeronautical and energy user companies like Iberdrola, Petronor Innovación, BBG-Bahía de Bizkaia Gas, Mercedes Benz, Rolls Royce and ITP Aero have already confirmed their attendance to IMIC- Industrial Maintenance Innovation Conference on 28 and 29 May. Their experience applying technology to improve maintenance, with real results that can be extrapolated to other highly demanding sectors, offers valuable information to companies of different profiles.

IMIC’s programme includes top-class international professionals, representatives of Rolls Royce, GE Automation & Controls, Fraunhofer Institute in Germany, the International Measurement Confederation IMEKO, Lulea University of Technology in Sweden, VTT Technical Research Centre in Finland, and the University of Lorraine in France.

IMIC’s conferences will cover topics such as the “Internet of Things (IoT) in maintenance”, “Operator 4.0”, “Big Data Analyses and the New-know in Maintenance”, “Smartisation and Condition Monitoring”, “Cyber-security and risks”, “Cloud Computing”, “Trends in Technical Support Service (TSS) and the Relationship with the User” and “Maintenance 4.0 through Various Sectors: Success Stories”. Thanks to such a varied offer, IMIC has managed to increase the number of registered delegates by 30% compared to the same period in 2016.

As well as the talks, IMIC has also planned an exhibition area in which around twenty companies have confirmed attendance: climate control solutions, innovative technologies in the field of data acquisition and analysis, hardware and software systems for localisation and noise analysis, monitoring and remote control technologies, advanced industrial cyber-security, industrial electronics equipment, business mobility solutions, information technology systems consulting, and machine and equipment repair and maintenance.

Thanks to the combination of a congress, exhibition, networking area and Brokerage Event programme, in which exhibitors and delegates will share impressions, IMIC will become a point of reference for learning about the state-of-the-art technologies for products and services, and the best place to meet other strategic professionals. IMIC will be situated in exhibition hall 4 at Bilbao Exhibition Centre, next to BeDIGITAL, a new event aimed at the industrial application of digital technologies, and ADDIT3D, International Trade Show on Additive and 3D Manufacturing, which is being held as part of BIEMH. More than 1,700 exhibiting firms have confirmed attendance at the largest Industry 4.0 exhibition in Spain.
