It will be held from 3 to 5 June 2025 within the framework of +INDUSTRY
Industrial challenges will become business opportunities for SMEs at Subcontratación 2025, the only monographic event on subcontracting in Spain, to be held at Bilbao Exhibition Centre from 3 to 5 June. The event will take place within the framework of +INDUSTRY, one of the major meeting points for smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0.
The event will have two outstanding spaces. On the one hand, in the exhibition area, everything from the most essential manufacturing processes to the most advanced technologies will be represented. In addition, from this 22nd edition onwards, the fair will host the industrial supplies sector. On the other hand, at the 21st European Industrial Subcontracting Meeting, exhibitor companies will be able to hold B2B interviews with leading national and international buyers.
This business forum, organised by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, CamaraBilbao, and BEC, hosted nearly 1,000 meetings in its previous edition. And year after year, it has consolidated its position as the largest B2B event in Europe, with effective ad hoc interviews with buyers selected on the basis of their range of products and services. This customisation has made Subcontratación the international benchmark for advanced manufacturing.
The wide range of products and services on offer at the event will mainly attract purchasing managers, production, R&D&I and innovation managers, supply and production chain managers, technical staff, and end users from strategic sectors of the economy. These strategic sectors include aeronautics, automotive, machinery manufacturers, railways, defence, energy, transport and infrastructures, iron and steel and capital goods, among others.
In an increasingly globalised environment, industrial subcontracting, a key sector for productivity, is becoming increasingly important. Currently, in Spain, the sector has numerous SMEs in traditional and advanced sectors, which accredit high levels of certifications and approvals. These SMEs form a dynamic and innovative business fabric that represents approximately 10% of the country’s industrial GDP.
+INDUSTRY is also expanding in response to the evolution of industry and with the aim of welcoming all sectors linked to advanced manufacturing. For this reason, the 2025 event will include the new weAR automation and robotics fair: a cross-cutting event for all industries. Alongside this, +INDUSTRY’s sectoralised route will be completed with the consolidated events AdditƐD, BeDIGITAL, Maintenance and Pumps & Valves. In addition, the WORKinn employment forum will again respond to the challenge of finding talent in the industry.
Subcontratación is organised by Bilbao Exhibition Centre, with the collaboration of the SPRI Group – Basque Government as Institutional Partner.
