BEC will become the logistics and press center of the Tour de France 2023 during its first three stages. Thus, from June 25 to July 1, the Tour organization will set up its offices in the Convention Center, as well as a space created especially for the media.

The first stage of the Tour will start on July 1 in Bilbao and will be preceded by the now customary “Le Caravane publicitarie”, an opening parade where the Tour de France and its sponsors will offer a festive show preceding the peloton. These caravans will be parked in Hall 2 and will set off from the Bilbao Exhibition Centre.

Last Tuesday, 28 February, the working committee headed by Christian Prudhomme, the Tour’s director, travelled to Bilbao and the BEC facilities to finalise the details of the big event.
