After the success of its first edition at BEC, Spannabis returns, strengthening its new stage in the city as one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to the cannabis and hemp sector. The event continues to enhance its international positioning and confirms BEC as its new permanent venue, after being held in Catalonia for more than two decades.
The inaugural edition at the Basque venue attracted over 15,000 visitors, 150 stands, and around 300 exhibiting companies, reflecting the sector’s growing interest in the Basque Country and across Spain.
The fair continues to expand its reach with the participation of companies from across Europe and other international markets, showcasing innovations in areas such as cultivation, technology, industrial hemp, wellness, and medical cannabis. In parallel, the event will host the World Cannabis Conference, an international forum bringing together scientific experts, medical professionals, and institutional representatives to discuss regulation, research, and the future of cannabis globally.
In addition to its professional dimension, the fair features a zone dedicated to culture and leisure, including live music, gastronomy, and networking spaces, making the experience a key meeting point for the sector community.
