BEC continues its commitment to hosting major international events in Bilbao, offering its facilities and logistical capabilities to help manage the large flows of visitors these events generate.

For the upcoming European rugby finals to be held in the city, the venue will provide support through its parking infrastructure and logistical services, helping to improve mobility for the thousands of fans traveling across the metropolitan area during those days.

The venue’s excellent connectivity to the city center, along with its ability to provide efficient mobility solutions, reinforces its role as a strategic partner in organizing major international events, as demonstrated in 2025 with the UEFA Europa League final.

On the competitive sports front, BEC continues to host large-scale events that bring together thousands of participants and spectators.

Among these, HYROX stands out, which held its fourth edition at the venue in February, occupying 20,000 m² of Pavilion 5. The event gathered 10,000 athletes and around 5,000 spectators, confirming the strong growth of this international competition.

Additionally, in late October, BEC will host the 5th edition of the Basque CrossFit Txapelketa, one of the most important CrossFit competitions in northern Spain. The event will take place in Pavilion 1, covering 5,000 m², with three simultaneous competition areas and approximately 2,000 participating athletes.
