After Paris in 2023 and Milan 2024, the city of Bilbao, and specifically Bilbao Exhibition Centre, will host Enlit Europe 2025, a leading international conference and exhibition that will take place thanks to the recent alliance between Iberdrola and Enlit, a media and events company at the forefront of the energy transition.

Regional authorities, including the Basque Government, Provincial Council of Bizkaia and Bilbao City Council, as well as the Basque Energy Agency and the Energy Cluster of the Basque Country, are collaborating and committed to the success of this energy event, which aims to highlight the challenges and opportunities facing the European energy sector.

This call is aligned with BEC’s positioning of attracting events related to the Smart Specialization Strategy in Energy (Ris3) of the Basque Government. Examples of this are internationally renowned events such as the European Hydrogen Energy Conference (EHEC) and the WindEurope Annual Event, both of which are benchmarks in the energy sector and will take place in 2024 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre.
