Private meetings, corporate events, language exams, public job examinations, exhibitions … The more than 50 spaces offered by Bilbao Exhibition Center facilities will host a wide variety of events in the coming months.

The first of them started last Thursday, March 10^th, with the open day of an important cooperative distribution company. The meeting, that has a hybrid format, is being held for 10 days in the Auditorium of BEC, a place from which it is being broadcasted via streaming and live to different venues. In total, the event will be attended onsite by more than 1,800 people.

On the 12^th the Auditorium became the setting for an important company meeting attended by about  200 people, and on the 13th, and in the same space, Transvol, the largest dump truck transport company of Bizkaia, celebrated a new assembly of partners to which one hundred people will attend.

This weekend, in Rooms 1A and 1B of BEC, the ‘Advanced’ level English certification exams organized by the British Council, which are expected to be attended by about 100 people, will take place. On March 27, Saturday, it will be the undisputed turn of the exams, and as recently announced, BEC pavilions will host the joint examination for the Ertzaintza and Local Police. As reported by the Basque Government, more than 6,500 candidates will aim to get one of the, at least, 751 vacancies on offer. On the same day 27, coinciding with these exams, the British Council will examine around 100 people from the ‘First’.

After the month of March, the BEC Meetings&Events calendar includes in its programme for the next few months strategic meetings such as the Desembalaje exhibition, the TEDxUDeusto event or the first edition of the Food 4 Future fair.

This one will take place from June 15 to 17, 2021 at Bilbao Exhibition Center, the latest technologies, solutions and automation systems that are transforming the food sector will be unveiled. The event will also host the Food 4 Future World Summit, the largest European congress in which to discover new trends and consumption habits, as well as success stories and applications of technology to achieve a more efficient and sustainable industry.
