BEC fills its space with leisure options

Bilbao Exhibition Centre will be hosting a wide range of public events this year. Recent highlights include the Hyrox events, a fitness competition that combines 8 kilometres of running with 8 workouts, and the Oulet Fair, an event offering discounts on fashion, footwear, accessories, streetwear, cosmetics, sport, home and leisure. Moreover, BEC also hosted the Level Up event, an alternative business school for SMEs and sole traders that offers an innovative training system and helps small entrepreneurs to digitalise their business; Desembalaje, where vintage decoration, antiques and collectibles were on display; and Japan Weekend, which is among the biggest pop culture events.

May will feature some very important events: Expovacaciones, now in its 44th edition is presented with the claim No imagines. Vive (Dont’ imagine. Live), which reinforces the two main concepts undergirding the event: Experimenta y Saborea (Experience and Taste); the Second-hand Vehicle Fair, which will bring together the most varied range of pre-owned cars, management vehicles, fleet vehicles and leasing, and zero kilometre vehicles.

Finally, Spannabis will land for the first time at the venue in September. At this event you will find products related to the hemp plant, its industrial uses (cosmetics, footwear, textiles, construction materials, food), cultivation (fertilisers, seeds, cultivation systems, etc.), recreational consumption and use as phytotherapy.

As for concerts, the Bizkaia Arena will host Depeche Mode, ZeidFest Gaztea, Operación Triunfo, Saiko, Estopa, Maná, Ura Bere Bidean and Bryan Adams, among others, over the next few months.
