Activity in the halls of the Bilbao Exhibition Centre and its Convention Centre never ceased during the summer, as evidenced by the unmissable Euskal Encounter, the CIRP General Assembly, the Osakidetza civil service examinations and the most popular Energy Cluster forum, the hydrogen forum, which was held in July and August. During September the trade fair and congress centre hosted a wide range of events and it will continue to do so until the end of the year: its own trade fairs, professional conferences, assemblies, private meetings, concerts, exams, prize-giving ceremonies, congresses…

BEC also hosted a meeting on security and cybersecurity organised by EMECA, the European association that brings together the leading exhibition centre owners in Europe; the Pokemon Special Championships Bilbao, and the annual Uniport meeting. The Bilbao Exhibition Centre was also the venue for the 9th Avalco Group Suppliers and Partners Fair. Moreover, the hall at the northern entrance to the venue served as a museum for the Huawei Enterprise Roadshow 2022 travelling outdoor exhibition, and the Luxua Hall hosted the 21st Congress of Executives of CEDE, the Spanish Confederation of Managers and Executives, under the title “Executives facing the transformation to a new world”.

In October, Egurtek, the International Forum on Architecture and Construction in Wood, is a must-attend event for architects, engineers and all professionals in the sector. It is followed by the most varied range of cars at the Second-Hand Vehicle Fair; the Intergune meeting: Intelligence and Cooperation for internationalisation; Japan Weekend; the great vintage decoration, antiques and collectibles fair with Desembalaje and RetroClásica Bilbao, the classic, vintage and collector’s car fair.

Since the beginning of the year, the Bilbao Exhibition Centre has operated non-stop and, given that the peak of activity will continue until the end of the year, a very positive balance is forecast as regards the level of occupancy by companies, events and visitors to the Bilbao Exhibition Centre.
